About Amanda

 

Amanda specialises in representing local authorities in claims relating to social care including failure to remove, abuse, neglect and human rights challenges. Amanda has acquired specific knowledge and understanding of how local authorities exercise their duties under the relevant legislation and is aware of the need for sensitivity and data protection when dealing with these claims.

 

Amanda defends allegations of negligence claims against education providers including special educational needs, failure to educate, assaults and bullying claims and is familiar with the processes and procedures which pertain to the educational sector. 

 

Amanda has dealt with a wide range of employers’ liability and public liability claims on behalf of institutional clients for over 20 years and other personal injury actions.

 

Amanda is a regular contributor to the Dolmans Insurance Bulletin.
