About Judith

 

Judith specialises in defending fast track and multi-track public liability claims (with a particular expertise in Highways Act matters) and employers’ liability claims brought against local authorities, including general duty of care cases and cases of assault by service users. 

 

Judith has specific skills in representing social services departments in respect of claims for alleged failures to protect children from abuse and neglect, including historic sexual abuse cases.

 

Judith also handles claims for local authorities and police forces arising out of road traffic accidents.

 

Judith contributes to the firm’s monthly Insurance Bulletin by providing an update in relation to case law decisions and has been a regular presenter at the firm’s annual Keynote Seminar. Judith has also provided training for clients in relation to claims brought under the Highways Act 1980 as well as many aspects of the civil litigation process.
