About Nicola
Nicola has extensive experience in public liability and employers' liability litigation acting for local authorities and police forces.
Nicola has over 15 years’ experience in defending historic abuse and neglect claims, involving children and vulnerable adults. She advises on breaches of human rights and court of protection matters, as well as complex disclosure issues. Nicola also deals with occupational stress, harassment and bullying claims on behalf of local authorities and police forces.
Having a background in competitive sport, Nicola also has an interest in Sports Law. Nicola has advised a number of sporting organisations and holds a longstanding appointment as a Special Arbitrator on the national Sports Resolution Panel in the following categories:
